Treatment for autoimmunity?

I know this isn’t the most reputable source but this looks like it’s worth looking into. This article specifically mentions ‘autoimmune liver disease’ as potentially being caused by bacteria leading to potential treatments using antibiotics or vaccines.

Aussie05,

Excellent article. I'm a believer in what that article is theorizing. I've read similar articles like that one, along those same lines of thought too. Thank you for posting. Hopefully soon they can figure out a way to balance out our overactive immune systems and stop these awful diseases.

I am praying this has potential! There is so much research out there about our micro biome and gut health!

But, correct me of I'm wrong but PBC attacks the bile ducts not the liver. Also they do antibiotics protocol in the USA for some autoimmune conditions and the worry is that people are developing resistance to antibiotics

Hi Aussie05

It would be great if out of all the studies going on at the moment they were to find the cause of PBC and a cure. Remaining forever hopeful.

Fascinating article! Whether this evolves into something useful we will have to wait and see, but I’m always heartened to know that any research is going on. Fingers crossed 🤞!

I am a believer of this theory as well! The more I read and research the gut health and organic diets the more I believe! Crazy stuff.
