right flank pain

I have RA and fibromyalgia, as well as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, sjogrens disease and several others. I am having pretty severe dull pain in right side, back and stomach, between ribs and hip bone. I am on several meds, including methotrexate and folic acid. What could be causing the pain? I don't have an appendix and have had a complete hysterectomy.

I have right upper abdominal pain right where the liver is, I would ask your doctor to check the area you have your pain at sometimes if they touch the area they can tell you what it might be then order the appropriate tests mine is from PBC as I have nothing else wrong going on in the liver area just that, let us know what you find out good luck.

Thank you so much, Michiganpbc! I'm not due to see my rheumy until Jan, but just had my blood tests done again, haven't received results yet. The pain actually seems to go all the way around from my stomach into my back, with soreness and pain in the pelvic bone, and now seems to have moved to the right side as well, but worse in the right side. What is PBC?

Primary Biliary Cholangitis, I have Sjogrens and it isn't unusual to have PBC with Sjogrens have you had a AMA blood test done? If not you may want to ask for it. Let us know how it goes.
