Great news

I would like to share with you all my fantastic news that I've just heard off my consultant.

I do not have PBC😬😬

I've had a virus that sent my lft's high but my biopsy was a perfectly normal liver and there is nothing going on at all that needs any treatment. I am so happy! I just need to be kept an eye on for a bit but prof Neuberger is very happy.

I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kinds words of advice and support and I wish you all nothing but the best of health. Take care xxxx

I'm waiting to see my consultant but have started on urso just before Christmas...still getting my head around pbc! I'm hoping when I see the consultant he will also tell me I haven't got it!! fingers crossed 😊

I'm so glad now I got the biopsy done as without it who knows but it was totally conclusive that there is no sign of PBC id recommend one to anyone after such wonderful news which I wasn't expecting. I heard lft's can b high for numerous reasons and there was enough doubt with mine to need the biopsy x

So glad that you do not have this PBC.

It is said there are other reasons that we can have abnormal or elevated LFTs (even certain medications can increase them).
