I would like to share with you all my fantastic news that I've just heard off my consultant.
I do not have PBCπ¬π¬
I've had a virus that sent my lft's high but my biopsy was a perfectly normal liver and there is nothing going on at all that needs any treatment. I am so happy! I just need to be kept an eye on for a bit but prof Neuberger is very happy.
I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kinds words of advice and support and I wish you all nothing but the best of health. Take care xxxx

I'm waiting to see my consultant but have started on urso just before Christmas...still getting my head around pbc! I'm hoping when I see the consultant he will also tell me I haven't got it!! fingers crossed π
I'm so glad now I got the biopsy done as without it who knows but it was totally conclusive that there is no sign of PBC id recommend one to anyone after such wonderful news which I wasn't expecting. I heard lft's can b high for numerous reasons and there was enough doubt with mine to need the biopsy x
How wonderful for you and your family, that's great news. Lovely to have all the worry of the disease lifted from your life. So happy it's happened for one of us. π
Hello once more Bellalou10.
I posted my previous reply just before this as that is how they came through to me via emails.
So glad that you do not have this PBC.
It is said there are other reasons that we can have abnormal or elevated LFTs (even certain medications can increase them).
Celebrate and enjoy life as you never know what's round the corner. thank you for the brief contact on this site.
That is good news! sure you are relieved beyond belief.. we are always here for you if you need us. Will you be repeating your liver enzymes regularly though or not? Take care.
