Hi There, I was wondering if anyone out there has been prescribed a supplement called Invita D3, I have been taking this for 3 weeks now to help witht osteoporosis, I am also having the yearly infusion of Zoledronic Acid in December, I have started to have headaches,( I have never really suffered with these in the past), they are a kind of fuzzy type headache, and wondered if anyone else out there has any experience of this. Thanks for listening.
Vitamin D.: Hi There, I was wondering if... - PBC Foundation
Vitamin D.
Are they the very high vit D ones as the made me feel awful i now take a calcium and vit D dissolvable tablet called adcal-D, it makes a nice lemon flavoured drink and i am okay with that, that's when i remember to take it.
Hi Dollydaydreams, Yes, they were very high, little ampoules of oil, 25.000UI, twice a week, and they made me feel awful too, but I called them and she said to drop it to once a month, so I'll see how that goes, Keep well.
What did you do, just stop taking them, and what did you take instead, and did it give you headaches?
I take one D3 pill a day; I don't know how you explain the dose as it uses a symbol I can't recreate or understand 25...g. On the back of the bottle it says this equates to 1,000 I.U. I've not noticed any after effects.
I was taking 25,000 twice a week, which is a lot, Nurse reduced it once a month now, so I'll see how that goes
