I have had PBC for many years and have just been diagnosed as having a rodent Ulcer (nasal cell carcinoma). I have been given an information leaflet which mentions Vitamin d levels. Has anyone had this experience/or have any knowledge of this.

Hi I have had a basal cell carcinoma removed (these are benign). I’m on Vitamin d because following diagnosis of PBC I had a dexa scan for bone density and it revealed osteopenia hence the vitamin d. X

Hi Mary,

I had a basal cell carcinoma in my eye a number of years ago (pre PBC). I was told nothing to worry about as it’s not like cancer. I had mine surgically removed and not had any problems since.

I love the sunshine and it’s good for vitamin d levels. Good excuse to take more holidays!!

Best wishes

Hilary xx
