I’m SI EOD, but I’ve forgotten to do it this morning, should I do anyway, or wait until tomorrow?

Do the injection anyway it really doesn't matter if late.

Vitamin B12 is not toxic, even in massive doses. So it is very flexible, take it any time of day as long as it gets into your body, even two or three times a day (many do) if it is helping manage your symptoms. I take it EOD, but I have a heavy cold right now so I’m injecting it twice a day, don’t know if it helps but I do know it is massively important to the body so I just experiment. I presume you take necessary cofactors with it.

Which cofactors do you mean? I've encountered some differing ideas recently.

I self inject (SI) every other day (EOD). Along with the cofactors of methylfolate 5mg weekly, Gentle Iron daily 20mg, vitamin D3+K2 5000IU daily. I was still getting, what I called my B12 headaches, as they were so distinct. Then on a WhatsApp group a GP, who also had suffered headaches, strongly recommended Elemental Magnesium powder 400mg daily as it was also an important cofactor with B12 injections and very good for headache alleviation, also a calming effect on the body. The magnesium (for me) was the final piece of the cofactors that brought me into a good place of managing my symptoms. It’s taken a year of ups and down's, trial and error, advice from guys and gals here and self education and because of lack of gp understanding, getting B12 ampoules from Germany, like very many on here and elsewhere.

In Chrome or Safari you can translate into English by clicking on the double A to the left of the address bar and click on translate into English in the drop down menu. They are very good, €8.99 + €9.99pp per box of 10. The pp stays the same for multiple purchases ie I buy mine 10 boxes at a time. Delivery approximately a week or less. If you haven’t taken Elemental Magnesium I would certainly recommend to try it, headaches are debilitating. I get it from Vitamin Express under name Magnesium Synergy, I get my vitamin D capsules here too.

I have just started the magnesium powder you recommended. But I took it for the first time one night a couple of weeks ago and the next day had awful stomach and bowel pain. I wasn’t sure if it was the magnesium, so have only just restarted it, but on a much smaller dose. Did you suffer any side effects when you started it? What dose do you take. I started with a small teaspoon, but today I only had about a quarter of that.

No I didn’t. I think it is likely to be the Magnesium and you are doing the correct thing to start with small doses and work up letting your body get used to it. I started taking one scoop in the morning and one before bed. I then moved on to taking two scoops at night before bedtime along with a vitamin D capsule. I mix mine into kefir which I make myself, kefir is good for gut biomes. I hope it works out for you, try and give it time.
