B12 patches

At present I get B12 injection every 8 weeks, however I feel I need more as I am still suffering all the symptoms of B12 deficency/PA.

I have found OmniCo B12 patches (high strength) on Amazon. It says the B12 is Methylcobalamin.

Has anyone tried them? are they antgood.

I, and am sure others would be interested in any coments or reviews.

Best regards

Yes , Ive tried them and they were useless for me . Someone said that the B12 molecule is too large to be absorbed through the skin . But we are all different , so it’s worth giving it a try .

I have tried everything possible sprays etc -I have diagnosed Pernicious Anaemia—Positive Intrinsic Factor Antibodies-And I find that the only way to get B12 into my system is with injections, so I’ve had to resort to self-injection, as my surgery will only allow one injection every 3 months

I wish you the best of luck with the patches . You won’t know if you can benefit until you try them . I’m sure that they do benefit some candidates

They won't provide any B12 unless they're the new nanofibre stuff which I don't think has reached the market yet.

Hi Whiskymack,

I tried patches too. Like wedgewood, I found them useless. It is injections for me.

Patches didn't work for me.

I have to inject daily to get any relief of my symptoms.

I think your money is best spent on b12 ampoules. You know you are receiving the B12 .

I've tried high dose b12 tablets . Cyanocobalamin

Expensive 'organic' b12 powder in capsules. Methylcobalabin.

Sublingual drops .

Also a spray.

Didn't bother trying patches after reading useless for the majority.

I cant remember reading a positive experience with good effect.

I remember being very disappointed.

My aim was to reduce b12 Injections .

My sister was successful on b12 capsules but her deficiency was dietary so that makes sense .

A slower absorbtion rate through age .

I do feel and have read somewhere ( sorry can't remember where)

Once on Injections . Always a good reason whether it's PA( difficult to diagnose) or an absorbtion issue injections are for life.

So frustrating you cant get a higher frequency .

I tried them for six months. They did not increase my B12 in the slightest, so now inject.

Hi there, they did zero for me too. Useless things. Best off by far by simply buying more ampoules and SI more often. That will work. I hope that helps

I think you get the idea. Invest your money in more frequent injections.
