I have always used Rotexmedica/Panpharma (from GP and from Germany). Due to the recent shortage of that my GP gave me Gerot Lannach, and I am sure it wasn't as effective. I couldn't put my finger on it, other than I just didn't feel as good as using it. So I bought some Pascoe from Germany, and I am finding it as good as Panpharma, with the added bonus of it not stinging!I'm assuming that different brands have different preservatives in and that could be why........🤷♀️
Do different brands of B12 affect peo... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Do different brands of B12 affect people differently.......?
I've had several brands Panpharma
Rotexmedica
Gerot lannoch
Neo
Cytomen
Accord
Cobalamin H
All hydroxcobalamin.
Only one I avoid as personally reacted badly to one of the additives I assume.
Some b12 injections still don't seem to give what I need .
No idea
why
As can be the same brands that gave good relief last time?
Thank you Nackapan. I was always good with Rotexmedica/Panpharma. Gerot Lannach just didn't seem to work as well for some reason. And I am finding Pascoe a good choice too, probably better than Panpharma if I am honest.Which brand did you react to? It is weird how different people react to different brands, and how some find one brand more effective than others.
There are 4 different types of b12 ampulls, all with different effects:
- hydroxocobalaminacetat
- hydroxocobalaminklorid
- cyanokobalamin
- metylkobalamin
Best and longest effect - hydroxocobalaminacetat. Both Panpharma/Rotexmedica, Pascoe 1500 and Erycytol (gerot lanach) are hydroxocobalaminacetat. But they are manufactured different, and we all can respond different.
