Just ordered Pascoe for the first time.....

I have been SI'ing for 6 years now. I get some ampoules from my GP and the main bulk of them from Germany. I always buy Panpharma but, as we all know, they have been out of stock for a while. So, I bit the bullet and ordered a different brand: Pascoe, from Apohealth.

For those who have gone from Panpharma to Pascoe did you notice any difference? Whether that be because it is a different brand, or whether it is because there is more B12 in there.....

Wouldn't life be easier, and cheaper, if our GPs just gave us what we need, eh? 🤷‍♀️

I have been using Pascoe B12 (Hydroxocobalamin) and notice no difference at all !! Do watch out though, Pascoe also make cynocobalamin ampoules , but they are 1mg not 1.5 like the Hydroxocobalamin.

Pascoe do not call their Hydroxocobalamin “DEPOT” like Panpharma do .

Pascoe Hydroxocobalamin a packet of 10 reference no 07568672

The same but a pack of 100 ampoules is reference no 07568695

You can use the ref no instead of the name of the item if you are on the site of a German Health Authority controlled pharmacy. But not anywhere else eg Amazon.de

Pascoe contains only Hydroxocobalamin and sodium chloride( salt) according to the leaflet

Panpharma Contains Hydroxocobalamin, sodium chloride . acetic acid and sodium acetate , according to the leaflet

If the GPs gave PA patients what they need of this relatively cheap and harmless injectable vitamin , they would save millions for the NHS , the whole country and ourselves of course . . So many patients get severely unwell from either no treatment or under treatment. ……. When will they see the light ? ……….

Thank you Wedgewood. It was definitely hydroxocobalamin. I always make sure it says B12 Depot 😊

As for doctors, it would be amazing for them to see the light and rectify the damage that is being done. As you say, it would save the NHS millions and, more importantly, it would save people like us from the struggles we have all faced.

Yes those are Cynocobalamin. Enlarged the photo and you will see that it’s printed on the packet !

And this is Hydroxocobalamin? 25 quid for ten ampoules???

Yes and yes; if you zoom in on those two images, you can see the boxes describe which cobalamin is in each.

Going back to the original question, Pascoe doesn’t sting. And we can now go longer between jabs, though that could be down to having the folate better balanced.

It’s not 25 quid , it’s 22 quid at todays exchange rate .

Amazon is the most expensive place to buy B12 ampoules

try apohealth where a pack of 10 costs €23.20 but there are no delivery costs

A pack of 100 pascoe B12 depot Hydroxocobalamin at the same pharmacy costs €100.22 — less than 1/2 the price per packet of 10 ! —- again no charge for delivery . Maybe too many for you . Do you know someone you coukd share with?

The site is obtainable in English and y you can pay with card or Paypal

I just bought 100 as it was more cost effective. With exchange rate it was around £85, that's only 85p per ampoule. I understand that it is more expensive than Panpharma brand but at this time there is no cheaper option for 1ml ampoules.

I don't SI as frequently as some others, so depending on use by date, I may have some to share.

I bought a load of Hydroxocobalamin ampoules in Turkey in may last year.... I'm going back October this year. I think I have enough. I'm finding after a few years of two injections per week I'm now ok on one a week.. However, I know others who need to buy who aren't on the forum and I will help them using your infor. Ty.

Scotlad76, yes that is correct. I ordered mine from Apohealth who offer free delivery. I only ordered 10 as I want to make sure I am ok with them. However, if you buy 100 it works out much cheaper. I paid £20 for 10, which is a lot more than I usually pay for Panpharma. But, like I said, delivery is free.

The last 4 months I have been using the Pascoe Hydroxo 1.5 and I have noticed a difference in myself, my Husband and children have also noticed me coming back to my wee self again and commented! The exhaustion still rears it’s ugly head from time to time but I feel better in myself, much brighter and feel I am moving around more easily, brain fog and searching for words is happening less and less too as is the neuropathy, so yay!! I have had symptoms of Pernicious Anaemia as well as bloods to corroborate for over 20 years, as well as family history of it but I was only eventually diagnosed in March 2022 when I thought I was surely dying. My GP was not too bad but again is scared to give more than the 3 monthly injections and admitted to knowing little about my illness so I am eternally thankful to this site, I don’t say it lightly, you all saved my life. Thank you ❤️

Another wee note, with the Pascoe is, I don’t have any of the pain I had when injecting the Panpharma or the feeling of the deltoid muscle swelling on injection which I had every time with Panpharma, it must be to do with the Pascoe having Sodium Chloride in it perhaps.

Anyway, I wish you all well and much as I am so grateful to German pharmacies, I hope one day soon we will be afforded the Vitamin essential to our well being and survival from our own NHS and at the amount correct for each individual instead of the ridiculous one size fits all method they have now 🤞🏼 😊

I think that Pascoe is the best b12 that I have come across. I have tried perhaps 4 or 5 varieties of ampules..
