German online Hydroxocobalamin ??

Help!

Today I went online to find my ordinary package of 10 "ampullen" B12 Hydroxocobalamin on Amazon.de, but they only had cyano..., and so did Versand Apo, Flensburg Apo, Or..., they did not ship to outside Germany.

Help, help, what to do? I cannot handle cyano cobalamin, and here in Denmark, it is extremely expensive on the pharmacy.

Where can I get it in Germany, do you know?

TIA

Try apohealth.de Now that our favourite ampoules , namely Panpharma , are more or less unobtainable, many of us have turned to Pascoe b12 depot . They are 50 % stronger than Panpharma, but the same volume -1ml. They are also more expensive . Hope that this helps .

They send to all European countries . But always put in your country first when filling out the address form . Then your postal code will be accepted .

THANK YOU so much!! I just succeeded with 1500 mcg ampules 👆. Gosh, I got all sweaty with the thought of a deficient hydroxo market. What is rhe plausible reason for Panpharma shopping their international trade, do you know?I do have PA. but I have never tried the 1500 ampoules...is there a potential risk that it could be too much in every load, or does it just last longer before we are getting flat again, ie we will go longer intervals?

There is absolutely no risk whatsoever ! Your body will take what it needs , and get rid of the rest in your pee . As we are all different , we can’t know if the injection of 1500 of B12 will last longer than 1,000

B12 is the one vitamin which you cannot overdose on .

I emailed Panpharma , and they said that there was a shortage of the basic ingredient of B12 . ( which mainly comes from China ) But other companies are managing to produce plenty of B12 . So I don’t know if what they are saying is true .

I was interested to learn B12 comes mostly from China - I also discovered this which I found interesting and may well mean it could be made relatively easily anywhere.

Industrial production of B12 is achieved through fermentation of selected microorganisms.  Pseudomonas denitrificans and Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp. shermanii are more commonly used.  Propionibacterium, the other commonly used bacteria, produce no exotoxinsor endotoxins and are generally recognized as safe (have been granted GRAS status) by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States.

The total world production of vitamin B12 in 2008 was 35,000 kg (77,175 lb)

most of us used to use Panpharma b12 depot .( formerly Rotexmedica which was taken over by the French Pharmaceutical company Panpharma )

A popular supplying pharmacy was versandapo.de

It has become more or less unobtainable now . Occasionally versandapo have a few packets , but sell out in a few hours . You can request to be informed when they have some , by leaving your email address in the box provided . But you have to be quick off the mark !

Many of us now use Pascoe B12 depot . Which is a 1.5 x 1ml ampoule , so 50% stronger than the Panpharma . Most of us seem to like injecting just 1ml .

Hevert b12 depot is another possible choice 1.00. X 2ml ampoule .

apohealth.de has a site in English , and don’t charge for delivery . You can pay with PayPal or a card .

Hmm I know. I was responding to your note that most B12 is made in China.

thank you for that recommendation -- phew -- all a bit scary -- ordering was straight forward - again thank you

Yes , it really is scary ,mouse70., to worry about obtaining the ampoules . It’s also got expensive now that Panpharma is virtually unobtainable Buying the 100 pack of Pascoe B12 depot , makes them half the price , but is risky, as when I did that , the use-by date was only 1 year . So that was annoying , as I inject weekly . If they are sold soon after manufacture , the expiry date is over 2 years . I don't like using out of date ampoules , so those ampoules were no cheaper than buying the expensive single pack ampoules .

Just to add to the worry also about the price of Hydroxocobalamin b 12, here in Denmark 3 x 1 ml ampoules on prescription cost 682 DKK (90 Euro for the set of 3)!!!So I am dependant on rhe German free market

versandapo.de have the reasonably priced Panpharma from time to time . You need to go on there , search for Panpharma .depot ( don’t forget “depot “ or you get their cynocobalamin. It will come up as unobtainable , but underneath you can see the box where you can put your email address . They will then inform you when they get some in . But you will have to be very quick , because they sell out within a few hours .

Good to know...I have enough ampoules when Apohealth has sent me the box for nearly a year, so hopefully for me the market will be more balanced at that time...Well, that will be interesting to see what Versandpo.de and PanPharma will do with the international demand for the Hydroxocobalamin...

Hello Indywindy. It has been difficult to cope when the covid was on. So many different things being told (I had a letter saying at B12 stayed in the body for a year!! How stupid do they think we are? I started self injecting and have been doing that for years. I do know that it has been difficult to get B12 injections just lately. I think so many people are self injecting. I got mine from Germany verspon?? sorry. cannot remember full name off hand, but you can find it on the web. Good luck, and hope you can get the help you need.

Thanks a lot. I got it on the Apohealth.de, so hopefully the 1500 ones will be fine.
