Hi does anyone know of a reliable supplier of hydroxocobalamin ampoules.

I have been using versandapo,(now APO pharmacy)? for the last year but now they keep canceling

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

PS Is it worth trying cyano if available? i am getting desperate.

Thank you.

Hi, it’s becoming tricky and if you’re lucky the first link will have stock It’s well worth checking regularly as it’s the one pharmacy that seems to have it atm

The second link is the alternative that a lot of forum members are using atm if you check out wedgewood posts she can provide far more detail and advice. I hope this helps 😊

I’ve just returned from Germany .I went to 4 “High Street “ pharmacies . Nonnebon them coukd supply me with my usual Panpharma B12 depot ampoules . I opted for the Pascoe B12 depot 1.5 mcg ampoules . which they obtained for me in a few hours . They coujd not explain to me why the Panpharma were not available

The Pascoe are very expensive ( over twice the cost ) . In future I will use Cynocobalamin. They work perfectly well , but apparently may need to be injected more frequently . They are the ampoule of choice in the USA. They should not be used if you have Leber’s disease ( an optical nerve disorder )

We can only hope that the situation improves . You can sign up with versandapo.de b y leaving your email address in the box they provide and they will let you know when they get some Panpharma B12 depot . You need to order immediately, or they will be sold out again ! Best wishes .

I went to my GP yesterday for my 3 monthly jab and I had to get the B12 from a pharmacy beforehand as the doctors had run out and said they are struggling to get hold of them. Apparently it has happened before and they hope it will resolve soon. Thanks for the info about cyanocobalamin as I wasn't sure about it either.

Cheers

Versandapo have Pasco 1.5 mg in 1 ml at €20.99 per 10 and €73.99 per 100 ampoules and I am using those and finding I can spread out the jabs a little further with no problems. Please check out because I am a bit cloudy minded ATM.

I also have the same problem. I have spent over £400 now and still have no delivery. I have about 10 days left. I now have the fear that my health and mobility will go back to where it was 7 years ago before I started self injecting. I also can't keep affording to waste money as no refunds are being given.

Is there anywhere we can order from who are reliable?

versandapo.de was always very reliable . But they just cannot obtain our favourite B12 Which is Panpharma B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin ) It’s a favourite because it is the best value , and the dosage comes in a1ml ampoule . I think it is a good idea to try B12 Cynocobalamin. This works well and is the B12 ampoule of choice in the USA . It is supposed to need being injected a bit more often than B12 Hydroxocobalamin ( the reason that the NHS changed from using Cyno. , to save nurse’s time) . But should not be used by patients with Leber’s disease ( a disorder of the optical nerve )

Versandapo.de has Cynocobalamin ampoules from various German suppliers .

I think I will give Cyno a try .
