I had severe muscle pain and extreme muscle weakness but by taking B12 timed release and iron almost they improved, but as soon as I carry an object or do anything put sine pressure in my muscles those symptoms return back back after taking iron pills and B12 timed release they get improved. I think my muscle tolerance get improved fast by taking those pills. I inject once a week cyanocobalamin which I think doesn't work for me and soon after receiving my Panpharma B12 depot ampoule I'll switch to that which probably is next week. But I think B12 pills help muscles work functional but maybe not help Nerve damage repair. I don't have any medical information but I think physiology of muscles and mechanism of nerves damage repair are so complicated. These pills help me to raise my injection tolerance. Dies anyone have any experience regarding these pills. Why muscle problem get improved by taking these pills. I think muscles also need B12 and iron to function normally and due to nerve damage they can't keep those stuff and causes weakness and pain. It's just guess and it's not scientific thing. And nerve to get repaired just need injection. Please let me know what you think

can't comment on iron but B12 is involved in the process that cells use to release energy and if that isn't working properly your muscles do not work as efficiently

I have been injecting hydroxocobalamin daily for nearly a year and alternate days for some months before that. The pain and weakness in my arm and leg muscles has improved greatly. In fact I no longer have arm pain, even when driving long distances. My leg muscles are still weak though and carrying any weight hurts my legs. Carrying a couple of cans of beans in my hands feels like a 5 pound weight tied to my hip. I am hoping this improves, I am not going to reduce my injections. I take a Spatone iron sachet daily too because I have always been low on iron.

I think not only nerve damage is involved but also muscles lose their strengthening content so I tried to replenish their content. I have the same problem I think stomach muscles and thighs back muscles weakness cause that. In may case weakness was so severe and I was so lucky pills worked for me. I think mechanism is beyond just mere nerve damage actually I suspect that just nerve damage causes muscle weakness and numbness. It requires more research to be done regarding that. Maybe nerves get repaired by taking B12 and iron and methyl folate and as well b complex but it's not whole story. I think by taking those stuff and have muscle workout in daily life muscles starts to readjust themselves and at the beginning we feel pain numbness and muscle weakness but it readjust itself and get back to normal functioning but it depends for how long muscles have these symptoms and takes time to get back to normal functioning. I think for eyesight the same rule is applied too.

Muscles are built up by nerves telling them to contract.

If your nerves are damaged then you will not be able to build muscle.

Damaged nerves lead to muscle weakness and atrophy.
