Is rash linked to B12 deficiency?

Diagnosed with B12 deficiency in 2018 also Vitamin D 10 years ago. No B12 injections since 03/20 given tablets by GP the tablets caused whole body pain, so I threw them away. I'm now covered in a rash which is burning and itching from my scalp to my waist. Tried to control B12 by diet. Any ideas?

I would suggest writing to your doctor, keeping a copy, explain you just can t go on like this, tell them about the rash (which I had ) and I think is possibly linked to low b12. Like you I threw the tablets away. Sleepy bunny has many posts regarding writing ,etc. Tell them the pain you are in, dont expect them too contact you, because they won't.

Thank you for your reply.I have contacted the doctors today and they have booked a B12 injection for next week.

I have a phone consultation tomorrow with the doctor regarding the rash.

Google rash b12 deficiency......I used cream with vitamin e , to stop the itching. Glad you got an appointment for injection. Good luck

Have you tried eliminating gluten and other common allergens?

I have not changed anything as I already have restrictions on foods due to intolerance.
