You might be allergic to a preservative in the injection. You should talk to your doctor about it.

Unfortunately a degree of skin irritation from B12 injections is a potential side-effect. Bacteria on the skin react by secreting a substance that some people react to. A pharmacist might be able to suggest a suitable scrub that might help. Some people find that it goes away after a while but for others it can be a regular feature of an injection.

Yes I get those on my body . Have dry patches on my scalp at present too. I used to get very sore spots which are different to the eczema ones you describe.

Thoses appeared with loading doses on my hairline face and neck mainly.

Look a bit like big hard white heads but are not. Get these very rarely now.

Glad youve mentioned thoses dry small patches that are itchy.

Let's hope they go too like the other sort I had.

I've used washes and creams used for eczema that seen to work.

My latest patches on my scalp not gone yet and a later addition.

I'm trying soap fee anti itch shampoos

Coconut oil

Avocado oil.

Coal tar shampoos in rotation.

Great improvement but not gone yet.

The itching is awful.

On your body creams will stop the itching.

I uses 4 different sorts of b12 so treating the symptoms rather than causes at present.

I do have omega 3 oil capsules as I thought good for you anyway and might help.

Hello - not sure if my experience relates to yours but I had acne and spots after my jabs for the first year. My daughter had the same experience. I've never suffered from anything like that before , even when I was a teenager. Am 73 now. I just get the odd spot after my jabs now so my body must have adapted to them.

The dry eczema patches different . Hope you dont get those too.

My daughter on less frequent b12 injections didnt get any skin reaction.
