Storing b12 ampoules

I'm sure I've read somewhere it shouldnt be in temperatures above 25oc

I have a recent second order that's arrived in this heat . Under my stairs is 27oc when I checked today. I know theve to be in the dark.

Is it 25oc ?? Is there a temp too low?

Thinking door of fridge but at 10 oc

Sone things freeze in my fridge and I csnt work out why. I cover everything . Nothing touches the sides. Kve checked the drain hole. Worried incase 100 ampoules freeze !!!

In view of the hot spell I’ve just bought myself a cool bag to store my B12 and also eye drops which need to be kept below 25 too.

When we have a hot spell like we have at the moment, I put my B12 ampoules in the top of the fridge door ,which is the warmest place ,and take them out when the temperature drops . Have done this for the last 4 years ,to no ill effects .

Thanks I will try and rearrange the fridge . Top of the door . Ill use a cool bag whilst sorting fridge and getting s steady temp in there

Don't forget to give it a quick warm-up before use, Nackapan. Liquid goes quite thick and cold in fridge, which will make for a painful struggle with injection.

I've put my open box in a cool bag with a block inset the stairs as coolest place That was okay this morning.

I live in South West England and the temperature outside my Victorian terrace house is in the 30's degrees Centigrade in a heatwave. Inside it never goes above 23 degrees Centigrade. I store my ampoule in their cartons in a cupboard out of direct sunlight and the temperature in this never exceeds 22 degrees Centigrade. Even at 24.9 degrees Centigrade I doubt there would be much or any decrease in available B12 in any case. These temperatures are in mid afternoon and the average temperature over 24 hours is likely to be considerably less. So unless you live in the tropics it is unlikely to be necessary to use a refrigerator. Having said that the top of the fridge is fine if that suits you.

Okay thankyou I did put a themometer under the stairs the coolest pace in the house and it was 27deg c which i was surprised by. 33 outside!

Our house isnt hot compared to others. Unusual times and temperatures. I'm in the east of England. I've put the box I'm using in s call bag under the stairs. Me new lot in the fridge door at the top. My fridge is struggling so in that place is 10deg. I expect too cold is bad too

10 degrees is OK - you will need to leave the ampoule you are about to use in a warmer place as a cold injection is not nice.
