I recently Ordered some "B12" and when it arrived put it in the fridge. Went to use it and noticed it was clear not the usual reddish brown. Double checked the box and it turns out I ordered 30 ampules of B1. What can I do with that any ideas?1

Oops not B12 but B1
Pixielula have you asked the supplier if they will take them back or are they abroad?
Hi Clive alive, no I haven't, but I got them from Amazon-de so assumed they were non refundable, I'm not sure it is worth the hassle of returning them for £26. Must have been in a brain fog when I ordered them....... Doh!!! I recently ordered 50 kilos of sunflower hearts for the birds that I hadn't meant too. There are currently a lot of very happy goldfinches in Abergavenny, and in llanwern as I gave a 12.5kg sack to my daughter. I meant to order the 25kg of suet pellets I don't know what happened with that order either. I'm not ordering anything online at the moment without getting a responsible adult to check!!!
Have you checked your original order to see what you ordered? There's always the possibility the supplier sent you B1 by mistake
Hi JMN2017 ......first thing I did was check my order as I thought they had made the mistake. But it was my mistake, I had to order some more B12 (got my daughter to check that order for me) and I'm still waiting for it to come. I hadn't noticed until I had used the old stock up and opened the new that's the most irritating part. I have left myself with no B12 and I'm two weeks overdue so just getting some serious fatigue around the edges of my day...... lesson learned I hope.
I think I read somewhere there is a danger in taking large doses of b1 that you could get low on niacin. Not saying you should take it, but if you do, take niacin and/or research this first. People take large doses of b1 for certain chronic conditions like Parkinsons & alcoholic tremors, obviously that doesn't mean it's necessarily a good idea. In regular doses, I think it is an ordinary vitamin like you would find in a multi-B vitamin, but always double check my work as I am not a medical professional and suffer the fog as well. Abergavinny!! Such a beautiful area! My relatives were from near there but I live in California.
That's thiamine. I get infusions every 2 weeks for Wernicke's encephalopathy. Not sure what it would help with otherwise. Good catch though. Always pay attention to any changes in appearance of medications. I always check on the way my b12 looks before. I get my shots.
