i just had a phone call from my doctors he phoned to apologise for giving me too low a dose of b12 and said he upped it and if it does not work i can have my jag . and its all thanks to the letter i sent with BSH guidance on B12 during Covid-19 . so a great big thank you so happy i got a break through at last

Wonderful news.
Very pleased to hear that there are GPs that respond to patients' letters, read the latest guidelines - and apologise for undertreatment (!)
Lets hope he can now apply the same care to other patients with B12 deficiency in the practice- and not wait to follow guidelines only for those individuals who write in.
(Still very sorry that any of you are having to do this at all.)
