I currently take a b12 injection hydroxocobalamin every other day and was wondering if an intravenous drip would be beneficial and improve my rate of recovery.

Intravenous b12 drip
Have your symptoms "stopped" improving toph or is their recovery on-going?
Is your Folate level OK?
I’ve heard of B12 infusions back on the old PAS site. I’ve never done that myself.
Your cells need a small but continuous supply of B12. IM or subcutaneous injections seems to be the most effective long term way to do that in the absence of a B12 recycling mechanism in the gut and hepatic loop.
IV provides a large amount of B12 quickly to the blood but the kidneys flush most of it out and it goes straight down the drain. So is it cost effective?
You may notice immediate benefits from the IV but you may also get worse symptoms. Whenever I hit a blood vessel while IM injecting, I get a head rush and occasionally a headache, and I find the B12 runs out sooner.
Do you keep a logbook and assess your symptoms daily?
Are you keeping a logbook?
Are you supplementing with a daily multivitamin and folic acid to support the B12?
Have you looked at gluten and dairy issues that sometimes arise when one is on B12 injections?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone would invent a small device that contains B12 and could be implanted in a person's body and would release a small amount of B12 every day?
