If you mean the one here in UK that sells 3 ampoules with needles etc, I've heard a lot about this website.

£100 for 3 B12 ampoules! This so called Dr should be wearing a mask & black & white striped uniform.

You can get 100 ampoules from Germany, delivered, along with all the syringes, needles & swabs etc from the UK for less than what these people are charging for 3.

If you look through this forum, you'll find loads of information about where & how to buy from German online Pharmacies etc, without being ripped off.

A bit harsh as I buy from there. They also sell 10 for £200 which is obv more than Germany however it is methylcobalamin not hydro if people prefer that and you also liaise directly with the Dr with no additional charges for consultations etc.

I think it’s a bit unfair to compare a service to just buying things wholesale. I for one needed a lot of reassurance and advice when I started and found the service really useful and more cost effective than paying for injections.

Naturally it is important to be price sensitive but also to appreciate that some of us who inject only monthly are happy to pay slightly more for support, advice and service.

If it helps you that's absolutely fine & I'm really pleased it has helped you.

But the thing that gets me are "professionals" charging scandalous amounts of money for something that costs pennies & benefitting off people's illness.

Take care

I agree but don’t think this is the case here. The costs are considerably less than most private doctor consultations and when I spoke to her she said she only launched the service as clients were finding it difficult to get to Brighton for injections. Methylcobalamin is more expensive than hydro and you can’t just sell in the UK like you can in Germany - there are more regulations etc to follow which is why it is so much harder to get from here.

I think there are a lot of beauticians and people without knowledge trying to capitalise on this and do injections and an ethical, supportive service is invaluable to many - especially those who feel they have no one else to turn to. I’ve spoken to people who have paid hundreds in private consultations as they felt they were getting nowhere with their GP so for this service to be provided as needed and throughout treatment without additional cost really is invaluable and a big step forward in recognises the difficulties many of us have.

I totally agree about those charging much more.

I spoke to someone who used this service & consultation & said they were ripped off as the Dr didn't know much about B12, but that was just their own experience. You have obviously benefitted from her service which is good, but I still feel it's very expensive, the old saying of supply & demand again I guess.

The main issue here I believe, is our uneducated dr's. All I was told when diagnosed was, Macrocytic Anemia, B12 & Folate deficiency & Pernicious Anemia. When I asked what it meant, I was told injections for life & that was it, no why, how etc, just left to get on with it.

One day when hopefully more become educated, we won't be sent away having to deal with it & just get on with it & to find out for ourselves what we need to do.

Sorry to hear that about your experience and I totally agree. Sorry to hear about your friends experience as well. I have found her to be extremely knowledgeable as have the people I have spoken to. Hope your friend has managed to find a solution which is better for them now.

Thank you, and he is in a much better place now yes thanks. But it's mainly from this place & talking to others & getting the advice from the amazing people on here. Which is really good as I also don't know where I'd be now if I hadn't found this place.

Just got back from my dr's after I was asked to go for a review. It's been a while since I last saw him & he knows I self inject every other day.

He asked me how I was, as it was him who I first saw when I changed surgeries over 3 years & started to taper off all the medication I was on.

He asked how I was, when I said apart from my back, neck & now painful feet, I'm Fantastic! He looked at me & said, why, how?? 😁

Just to put these charges in perspective, we can get four individual injections, each professionally and personally delivered by a doctor in private practice, for £100.

£33 a shot!

I need to come out of retirement! If only I could get rid of my morals.

😂 I'm the same fbirder I'd never be any good running my own business, I'm way too soft & would end up bankrupt!

If you mean the German online pharmacy there are a few.

Versandapo is one many use.

The last one I used was bodfeld apotheke.

There are others also. I have only ever ordered Hydroxocobalamin though.

If you mean vitaminb12online.com then yes. I get my b12 from there and have been for about 3 years. Was having trouble with stock issues from another supplier and switched to these guys and haven't looked back. The service is good and a lot cheaper than some clinics are charging in the UK. Some of the prices are out of this world.
