do you know what your actual B12 levels were - it is possible to be B12 deficient with serum B12 levels well in the normal range and if you have a folate absorption problem there's a high probability that you could have a B12 absorption problem.
However, you also need to remember that there are a lot of things that have similar symptoms to folate and B12 deficiency. If the iron being okay is based on ferritin only then it might be worth asking for a full iron panel as ferritin is a good indicator but doesn't tell the whole story.
If you had macrocytosis (a type of anaemia where you have enlarged and rounder red blood cells than normal) then it might be a good idea to look a potassium levels as these can be depleted when your body is correcting anaemia)
