Hi I have been advised by people in the thyroid community on here to have blood tests to recheck my thyroid tsh and t3, I've only had tsh checked before starting b12 injections 3 years ago and it was 2.9.
I am going to have private test from blue horizon because I don't want to risk rocking the boat with my gp and risk b12 being stopped but does anyone with pa and thyroid issues know if there is a particular time when it would be better to do the test to.avoid any skewed results?
I've just had my 8 weekly jab yesterday and take otc folic acid supplements daily.
Thanks

to be honest I would ask blue horizon what they say.
the vitamin most commonly associated with skewed results in thyroid tests is biotin (and it can also potentially skew B12 tests if I remember correctly).
