I keep randomly getting hot/flushed face .. my face will get super red and hot to the touch. However, it does not seem to be when I need an injection. I just SI last night at about 9pm and then today at 5pm i get the random flushing. Is this normal?

Hot Face & b12!?
Yes. I also get the hot red face. I have been meaning to ask also if anyone else was experiencing this. It must be from the deficiency itself bc right now I’m only supplementing, not doing the injections. However, I hope that changes at appt Thursday bc I still have an abundance of daily symptoms.
Do you take any other B vitamins? B3 is infamous for doing what you describe.
This same thing happens to me but I am still very early in my diagnosis. My first injection was yesterday! I am hoping I feel normal again soon.
I’m just the same feel really hot and sweats it’s awful so x
I don’t get the sweating, just red and very warm to the touch. Do you SI? When did you notice these symptoms?
kjl3 - could it be a symptom of the menopause?
My face became red and sweaty after I started my B12 injections. It was so bad people commented on it. I thought it might be due to menopause but the same thing happens when I drink wine or eat/drink anything that causes a histamine reaction. I gave up histamine producing foods such as wine, kobucha, picked and fermented foods and the problem has pretty much gone away. I've been trying to slowly reintroduce some of my favorite foods to see how my face reacts. I still can't dink wine (sad face.)
Hi, I've had the same! Sadly it also seems to be linked with histamines so wine not good.
I know this was a year ago, but I had my 3rd loading injection yesterday and woke up this morning with hot red face. Thought I had a fever but it’s just flushed. Did this get better for any of you?
I had red hot feet and the upper backs of my arms. They felt like they were in hot water or like a sunburn feeling. This did go away with injections!!
I’m so glad to hear you are on loading injections!! I don’t know if you saw my 100 replies today or not 🤣 but my experience was so similar to yours and I really wanted to provide input on what I’ve been doing and I’m so anxious to see how your injections go - I really think they will help a lot! If you can look at my responses to your initial post, I think it may help you feel better!
