Are any surgeries offering face to face appointments yet?
I find it amazing the Gps are so illusive still. ?? The 2 nurses and phlebotomist and many reception staff have left.
No idea whars happening. Last nurse I saw was 'helping out from another practice ?? I ended up not having the injection ad the 'usual stuff' I had all out of date .

Mine are still doing phone consultations except where it can’t be avoided. I’ve only been going in for my jabs. Luckily the nurses are all amazing!
Glad you ve got good nurses. Shame both have left i was seeing. and after 2 years it's nice to see a familiar face who knows to turn the light off ect.
I saw my GP two weeks ago. He assessed me as I wanted more loading doses and he agreed to them. I’ve got one more injection and then I will see him again. So they are around but no doubt the pressure of COVID is extremely disruptive.
Yes, I had a face to face. I had a chest infection and requested advice as to how to alleviate the nasty stuff I was coughing up. The GP said to go in and have my chest sounded - I was prescribed antibiotics. Obviously guidelines as per were to be followed and patients were only allowed in through one door and out of a different one I never knew existed! Our surgery is partnered with three others in our area. My regular surgery in the village is only accessible for certain conditions, it seems. To be truthful, I was shocked that I was allowed to go. All my other enquiries/appointments have been via the telephone.
Good to hear. I've not asked but feel I need some contact soon/review. Last saw my Gp in February. Otherwise have written with ongoing symptoms and requests for blood forms.
I’ve never met my gp,Ive been with the practice since last year but only contact has been via phone with him or contact with nurse for loading doses then shot every three months.
That’s why Im reluctant to change Gps whilst in the middle of the testing my professor is requesting because at least the gp is doing some if not all on the nhs.I just wish he’d stop hiding and get off his ass and treat his patients who so desperately need him.
There’s one nurse in particular who comes to the door when I have to collect a container or something and she’s such a bubbly personality I really like her, like when she says try fitting that in the letterbox when you return it and we both laugh because it’s a huge urine container,it just breaks the ice in all this doom and gloom. Xx
Our surgery still not seeing anyone Gps that is.. the nurse does b12 but no nurse to do blood draws or flu jabs etc
At A n E my hubby was told by the Dr that GPs should all be back seeing patients with the same precautions wouldn't mind 2 doctors there and 13 partime reception staff such a small surgery always nearly empty when ever I have gone there that's before covid

Same here last blood tests I had done I’d to go to hospital and stand in a hot corridor with mask on for ruddy ages, there were so many elderly confused people there queuing as well it was really distressing to watch their confusion, one elderly man kept saying but I’m hungry it was horrible.bloody doctors and nurses sat gossiping in the practice behind locked doors it’s outrageous.

Should be made to go back but as now its creeping back up again the virus got no chance with my surgery
Yrs my daughter csnt get to speak to anyone at the surgery as doors locked unless an appointment. She cant stand for long as passes out! (Pots) her much needed medication blocked ad review needed. Now rralises 'review 'was done at the same time ad b12 injection. As bp.!! Has taken 3 attempts over 3 days to get through 1hr 2o mins on hold today so prescription can be released!!! Really done know what's going on. Sounds dreadful and unsafe queuing in a hospital for a blood test !!!
