I believe that this petition is still live, though the health minster concerned has changed

Thanks. I did look at that one however the initial signatures look to be quite old. Plus Change.org is an American for profit organisation. Whereas if the petition above is released on the government petition site (its currently being reviewed for publishing) and it gets 10,000 signatures, the government has to respond 😊

the platform may be provided by an american organisation but it is widely used around the world - there are many petitions on it specific to the UK.

The petition was started by a UK campaigner.

Yes I totally understand that, however the government does not have to respond to any of them hence the platform I chose.

This is Tracey Witty's petition, I think if we really want results we perhaps ought to stand with her. b12deficiency.info

What's wrong with having two petitions running simultaneously?

I would but will have to wait until it is "approved"

I would like to think that anyone wishing to sing the petition will back Tracey's hard work over the years, this is her passion, standing up for NHS patients for many years. Literally saving long term disabilities & lives.

Surely we are all in this to get something done so why does anyone have to chose one over the other?? Surely if we all support both petitions we have a higher chance of success.

It's not a case of one over another, if I were signing for the first time, it just makes more sense to sign the one that has had so many years of experience on the difficulty of NHS patients struggle to not only receive a correct diagnosis but to also have created a one stop website for so many patients that are lost & have no idea where to turn. It has already been accepted & recognised as a very valuable petition.

Whilst I appreciate your opinion I personally think it makes sense to sign both. The more petitioning for change the higher chances of success.

Shelly2shoes...just a thought...makes sense for folks to sign both petitions...and many people here have already signed the petition to which you refer...and would do so many times over if it were allowed.

👍

No problem, if I could have signed it, I would have.

Agree RiskiestEnd...signatures on both petitions equally valuable...and as I said to shelly2shoes , many here have already signed the petition to which she refers (it's been doing the rounds repeatedly for some time) 😉😀

Believe me, I want this to be available OTC just as much as any of us, once this petition is up & going, I will sign & share, for sure.
