If you want Hydroxocobalamin ampoules like we use in U.K. do ask for B12 DEPOT . or you might get cynocobalamin . You will find that the B12 ampoules are more expensive in German High Street pharmacies than on the German Online pharmacies who attract business by giving discounts ! eg versandapo.de offer 23% on Panpharma B12 depot , which is the most popular ampoule with forum members . They cost €10.16 for a pack of 10 in High Street pharmacies.BUT you will not have to pay €9.00 for DHL courier . So if you want to buy more than 4 packets, it’s cheaper to buy online from versandapo!

Plus , if you register with Versandapo, you earn points on your purchasers .

That's a good point. Online i pay around 8 euro/box, at the pharmacy they charge around 10 e/box.

Gosh where are the good old days, just a few years ago, where i paid 65 euro for a 100 pack 😭 I don't understand why prices have increased so much!!

P.S . If you are in Germany for more than a day or two , and you buy 2packets of Panpharma you can get deliveries free of charge to a German address , if you are buying online .

If buying large quantities you might want to call them to order it a few days in advance. Some have a website for reserving products.

Thanks all. I’m working in Cologne most most weeks at the moment, so will visit the Apoteke to buy some B12 Depot.

Thanks!

Bear in mind that if you order from German online Pharmacies , which are cheaper than High Street pharmacies , they will deliver free of charge to a German address if your purchase exceeds a quite modest sum . And you have a massive choice of pharmacies obviously . ( huge list of German online pharmacies available on internet ) They all give discounts . that the High Street do not . versandapo.de give 23 % on Panpharma B12 depot 1mg x 1ml packets of 10 ampoules . ( ref no 16199653 )

Thanks wedgewood I stay in hotels when I’m there. Also, I wouldn’t order too much as there are liquid restrictions on carry-on luggage.

I’ll just buy 10 ampoules each time I’m there, which is most weeks.

Do you all prefer Germany over Canada to buy your b12 for some reason? I bought my first supply from the Canadasuperdrugstore for about $4US per ampoule. $40 for box of 10. mostly because I was having trouble navigating the German site even with the translation. Plus I couldn't find that they shipped to the US. I think only to UK. Thanks

Well I went to an pharmacy in Cologne & asked for B12 DEPOT.

€8.60 for 10x1000mg ampoules. Only when I got back to hotel & took a pic for here did I realise it’s CYNO…

Went back, they were closed. Found another pharmacy (they’re every 50-100 metres). They had Cyno, but said they had to order the DEPOT, next day delivery. €10 a box.

I’m going home tomorrow, so didn’t order it.

I’m back next week.

Is the CYNO not as effective as the Hydrox\DEPOT?

Should I use this stuff or bin it?

Many people get along with cyano just fine, so if I were you I'd give it a go. Just keep in mine you might need to double the frequency since it's not supposed to last as long as hydroxy.
