I have had anemia due to poor diet. I recitifed that back in march. I was taking 1500mcg a day (methyl) + iron, and folate. For the last 2/3 months I take 60mcg b12 once a week or fortnight. I had some purplish/brownish discolouration around my right eye and upper cheekbone for quite awhile, which has practically cleared up. There is still a lump on my right upper cheek, it's about 2.5cm(W) x 1cm(L) and was also purple.
I am wondering if anyone else had a similar issue ? and how long it may take for it to settle down ? I thought it might have water in it, and needled it with a 2.5mm derma stamp, but no water and very little blood came out.

Sorry, but really have no idea what the lump on your check bone might be...but it doesn't sound like something that is typically associated with B12 deficiency.
It's really not a good idea to try and 'needle' any sort of lump a) because you have no idea what it is and b) because of the risk of introducing infection.
Seriously suggest that you ask a qualified medical practitioner to take a look at this, as would be the course of action for any unexplained lump...even if only for your own peace of mind.
