6 Months on since SI

I'm pleased to say that since my first SI which was pretty daunting it has become a routine matter now. I haven't bothered to tell the gp's about it, I just go for my jab every 8 weeks and then SI every week! The brain fog, shortness of breath and fatigue have gone. The burning and tingling in my legs and feet are very much better, don't really notice it until I'm due for my next injection, but still have tinnitus which I've had for 10 years so may never go. I've noticed the last 2/3 weeks feeling the need to inject again on the 4th day instead of a week. I have a lot more energy now and I'm much more active so wondering if I'm using the B12 more quickly, has anyone else experienced this? I take folic acid 400ug , Vit D, magnesium and iron, which I am having checked again next week.

So grateful for all the support and advice I've had over the last 18 months with my battle with the doctors. I would still be in a mess if it wasn't for you all on this forum.

Hi sweetpea21, I take hydroxocobalamin and I buy it from Versandapo in Germany. The Rotexmedica brand is the same as they use at my GP's. Very quick delivery.

I found many similar things to you , and after similar timeframe (I think) symptoms were much much better but returning very fast (not nearly as bad though) so I started taking vit d folic acid and a few others and it got a bit better,,,, either way I’m miles better than before (can’t do my old job but I can do a sit down phone job now) and did I’m glad you are too...I heard something about as you heal your body gets through b12 quicker due to healing ,,, which I think I what occurred with me but either way after my jab (every day or other day now) I nearly always feel better and symptoms go or lessen... (it was your getting through b12 quicker comment that sparked my interest) hope you continue to feel better :)
