My recent labs are as follows. My doctors are repeatedly telling me these are 'normal' but they look very low to me, I still feel ill too with various symptoms including lightheaded, legs feel like jelly, very exhausted and lethargic, headaches. Any advice what to do next to get the treatment I need to feel better?

Hi mistygrey I replied to a similar post three weeks ago and gave a list of symptoms caused by P.A/B12 deficiency and also quoted what The British Society for Haematology guidelines say on the Diagnosis of B12 and Folate Deficiency "In the presence of discordance between the test result and strong clinical features of deficiency, treatment should not be delayed to avoid neurological impairment".
Your B12 and Folate are at the lower end of the scales and according to the numbers you are deficient in iron.
Make a list of your symptoms and present this to your doctor and ask him to treat you according to your symptoms and If possible take someone with you who can validate your neurological symptoms as the doctor is less likely to pooh pooh you in front of a witness.
I am not medically trained and hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be able to give you better advice.
Thank you Clive, that's a good idea. I am seeing my GP in a few weeks so will make notes. Hopefully I can get treatment to feel better soon, you are right the levels are very low, just hopping the doctor can recognise this.
