Just to let you all know I have made decision to have Private Blood Tests done.. Thankyou Gambit for suggesting xxxx

I have rang them, also gone into website, extremely helpful... I have ordered the Vacutainer Kit... Thyroid Check Plus Eleven.. Price £99.15...( could have gone for cheaper test but, only did 3 x tests )

I chose to have the kit that I take to a Nurse at surgery to draw off vial blood ( all sent in kit )... then I post it back, for their Dr' s to test for me.... My blood is tested for... TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies, Thyroglobulin Antibodies, Ferritin, Folate, Vitamin B12 ( not active B12) C Reactive Protein, Vitamin D ( 25-OH ) .... Just have to wait 3 weeks Now for Nurse appointment. Hopefully by going Private I will get myself sorted .... Fingers crossed

hope that the testing and talking to your GP about the results goes okay.

Please note that I was actually trying to be quite careful about not naming the tester by name and merely pointed you to the area of the TUK site that provided you with the details
