what exactly happens to your body when you are borderline b12 deficient, low folate just below border, and then have a b12 injection. Does it increase Ferritin, folate, etc

Simply put a deficiency of B12 damages the nerve endings causing neurological symptoms.

A Folate deficiency can cause enlarged red blood cells and can also damage the spine of an unborn child so pregnant women are encouraged to supplement with folic acid.

B12 and Folate help Iron to make red blood cells so a deficiency in one or both stops that process working properly.
