End 1986 from Merchant Navy to shore based job; Shift work days and nights; Lack of Sun

and sleep disruption.

Feb 1993RTA to Ldn Col Hosp...Antibiotics but no space for op. Plaster to hip. Sleep disruption and neuro symptoms.

Mar 1993Studies ; unable to cognite and had to discontinue one new subject.

Nov 1993Diabetes II diagnosed. Pills plus Metformin and Ramipril.

May 2014Lost 2 stone and appetite for midday meal. After peculiar flight experience of hot particles in air supply after levelling off on local flight to UK. Very weak.

Ran out of Ramipril and felt better ( I could get more light thru eyes !) Gave it up.

Jul 2014Went Vegan.

Aug 2014Lost my Diabetes II also allergies and addictions. Gave up medicines.

End Jun 15After LH op incl GA and antibiotics suffered urine lock up and fatigue for regular periods 1 or 2 days duration and wandering to RH side. Found Haemaglobin slightly low and B12 borderline but deficient per Internet info. Ate liver for three weeks twice weekly thus raising my B12 190 to 560. Still neuro problems.

Beg Oct 15Prior to RH op discussed GA with Anaestetist who adjusted. No ill effects but still

suffering fatigued days and Neuro problems.

Early 2016Self treating with vitamins B12 plus folate, Multi vitamin, Magnesium, D3 plus K2,

now regular liver and steak once per week. Reduced carbohydrates. Modest alcohol.

Fatigue gone. Diabetes still gone.Allergies and stress medium.

Jan 2017Read paper by drgominak from the internet. EUREKA. Dovetails my problems…

Sleep disruption and Vit D deficiency plus Antibiotics and possibly GA damages the intestinal bacteria which cannot pass the necessary vitamins. Unfortunately I did not cognite in time.

Not quite sure if you are asking a question or ... but certainly true that micro-organisms that live in the gut can affect the ability of the body to absorb the nutrients it needs in the gut. H pylori infection is a known cause of vitamin B12 deficiency.
