B12
Hope that you have received my private message! The first one just wouldn't send! Anyhow it's usual to have 1mg of B12 in 1mg saline, but the B12 Hydroxocobalamin I get comes in 2ml saline, also 1mg You will eventually get more relpies on this I'm sure, You are better off onn this site! Best wishes to you!
I use 2ml syringes, green needles (21G, 1.5 inch; 0.8mm x 40mm) to draw up the liquid and blue needles (25G, 1.25 inch; 0.6mm x 30mm) for the injection itself.
All from Amazon UK.
There used to be a really good thread on this topic on the old forum. Not everyone needs the same length of needle (because some of us are thicker than others). Personally, I use the BD brand 3ml syringes with 25 gauge 1 inch needles. I inject only 1ml, but having the extra space in the syringe barrel helps when drawing up the B12. If you're drawing up from a multi-dose vial (the kind with the rubber tops that you poke the syringe through) remember to fill the syringe with air to the level that you plan to fill it for your injection (example: if you want to inject 1ml, first fill the syringe with 1ml of air). Because those are sealed containers, you have to displace the amount of liquid you're taking out. You poke the needle into the vial, push the air into the vial, and then pull the plunger back out to draw up the B12. If you're using the single-use kind that have the glass break off tops, you don't have to worry about displacing the liquid with air.
