Can anyone recommend a good, reputable source for getting B12 for self injection please. I am in the UK.

Have you asked your GP? I get mine on prescription whenever I need some and usually get a box of 5 at a time and that usually lasts me a month. Good luck and hope this helps

The most commonly used sources for people in the UK are

a) b12d.org - methylcobalamin (please make a donation to cover the costs)

b) goldpharma

c) amazon.de

d) mycare.de

e) oxford biomedicals (think that's the right name - again methyl but this is in a dried form so you need to source saline to mix it)

I use mycare.de - good an efficient service but first payment needs to be made up front.

People have had problems with c) and d) as they are german sites so translation can be an issue. (There is a general rule within the EU that allows you to import medications for personal use where you are unable to obtain them in your home country - emphasis is on personal use - strictly speaking you would be breaking the law if you supply to another person as injectable substances can only be obtained uner prescription in the UK ... and that includes injectable saline ... though there are some humanitarian exemptions eg enabling supply where it is believed that recipient would otherwise resort to means that would damage their health - drug addicts etc))

Personally have never used goldpharma but that is just because I started with mycare and haven't had a need to change

Hi, I trird to purchase b12 injections goldpharma my bill cost with transfer about 20 and wanted to top my wallet up to a hundred and two euro I don't understand.i thought topping wallet up was like PayPal wallet. Can any one explain why? If I'm in the wrong place my apologies it's my 1st time.

Hello,

I recently bought B12, cyanocobalamin, from Canadian site along with B-D syringes and needles. They delivered promptly, everything protectively packaged.

Cyano brand is Cytex, multiple-dose vial, 1000mcg/ml, for deep subcutaneous or intramuscular use.

buy-otc.com They definitely could improve their cluttered site but I recommend. Hope they can ship to your address.

I use mycare.de for B12 and buy the Lophakomp B12 (In a white and red box). I've only ordered from them twice but they've been really good so far. The B12 comes in little individual-dose glass bottles, so you don't need to measure or mix anything.

I don't get anything else there though. Syringes, wipes, etc I just buy from a UK site as it's cheaper.

Hi Lucy,

Thanks for replying to my thread. I have been taking B12 sublinguarly and for a while it helped.

However, I think the time has now come to take it in injection form.

Can I ask, the B12 that you get from mycare.de - where do you inject it into.

I am thinking that the easiest way to inject is into muscle rather than under the skin. Is this how you inject it?

Hi Helen

I inject it into my outer thigh muscle using 2ml needles and find it works very well.

I hd a look at some youtube tutorials before I tried it and found them helpful. However, most say to stab the needle in quickly, but I prefer to do it at a steady pace then inject quite slowly too.
