Self Injection Help

Afternoon lovely people. I am considering self injection of B12.

Can anyone recommend a safe andcreputable supplier and also any advice on the type of needle I will need and again where is safe and reputable to purchase from?

I am ok with self injection technique as I know many nurses who will be prepared to demonstrate.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I use— versandapo.de in English —

They are a reliable proffesional German online pharmacy . Get straight into their site in English and search for Hydroxocobalamin . You will get a drop down list . Click on Hydroxocobalamin acetat , and you will see the choice . I use Rotexmedica 1mg x 1ml ampoules . I buy 100 for €52.00 You can buy 10 , but buying 100 (and the use by date is about 2 1/2 years ahead) makes them so much cheaper .There is also another make Hevert , which makes ampoules of 1mg x 2ml. Courier costs €9.00 .delivery about 3 working days . You can pay with a card or Paypal

Syringes (2ml ) Needles swabs and sharps box can be obtained from medisa🔠ve.uk You need a long needle Ro withdraw the B12 from the ampoule.if you use IM method , you need a 1inch or 1.25” x25 gauge needle for injecting into the outer middle 1/3 of the thigh. For sub-cutaneous , I don’t know needle size .Look at some videos .

Wow thank you so much. That is both detailed and helpful and I feel so much better following the practice of someone who has been there before. Very kind, thanks

Best of luck martin2812 . Glad you will have some help with S.I. The 100 pack of B12 ampoules Rotexmedica from versandapo.de is out of stock again . But it’s usually only for a day or two . mycare.de in English also have them but they are more expensive and courier costs are higher . I have heard from several people that Rotexmedica are the ones used in their surgeries . After nearly 3 years of self injection, I bless the day I started S.I. It gave me my life back . 👍👍🍀🍀💉💉( that’s even the right colour for B12!)

That’s really helpful thank you. I am going to take it easy to begin with (just one injection a month) and see how I respond. People here are wonderful with their advice. Thanks again Wedgewood for your help!!

I use goldphama, hydroxocobalamin is what you need to buy & theirs is really good. I bought 100 ampules last time, saves me running out, I inject as & when my symptoms appear again, normally 2 weekly.

I get my needles from medisafe, but ave recently heard on hear about someone buying a selfinjector & they was really pleased with it, less pain & less anxiety. Worth a look at if your just starting to self inject xx

unionmedico.com/product/sup...

This is a link to where a member bought it, I’m thinking of investing in one myself

If you do get one, can you let me know how you find it, the lady on here said it was less painful and easier to do. I’m actually use to it now, but I do love a gadget hahahahaha

That’s super helpful. Will have a look and if I get it will of course let you know. Thanks again
