Started getting headaches when only lying in bed, back of head, told to go for eye test I went all clear and normal
It started getting worse and more intense as weeks go on,
These past few days have been horrific, not slept for 3 days due to pains in back of head some times in my eyes also.
" NEW" In the past week Ive started getting neck and upper back pains, all VERY tense. My neck on both sides are very tender to to touch. moving my head side to side up and down pulls of neck and my upper back.
bending over is agony in my back,
Im not sure if these things are linked and due to same condetion or not.
Had CT scan of brain was clear, had neck x ray and normal, had ecg normal had bloods normal just waiting for an MRI now.
But im Questions is could these headaches and pains that started 2 months ago be connected to my spine and neck,. Even thou I had no pains in my neck or back before last week.

They absolutely could be connected to your spine. I have pinched nerves at C2 and C3 and I have exactly the same symptoms as you. I had numerous eye examinations which, apart from an attack of iritis, came back clear each time, and several appointments with an ENT consultant. Also all clear. I think you should ask for an MRI scan of your Cervical Spine, if nothing else to rule that out. Best wishes!
Hi there, I went through the same thing which was due to the bones in my neck had started to break down which was causing the muscles to hold my head up and it was the muscles being under strain all of the time which they were not ment to do, in my case in the past I had been involved in a accident whilst in the army which broke my back in 4 places and strained the joints in my knees, hips, back, shoulders and neck which started me off with arthritis in just about every joint in my body. I have learnt to live with my neck pain I take a lot of pain killers which I have learnt do not kill pain they just take the top off it to bring it down to a level that you can live with, now a day's it can stand up and walk a short distance but after a minute or two my back complains and I have to sit down if I try and do too much my back will double me in half and if I have nothing to put my weight on I hit the floor sometimes I can get back up on my own and on other times it can take me an hour or more before I can get back up and sit down but it can be several days before I can stand up on my own.Good luck finding something that helps you get over the pain.
It could be migraines … I get migraines from neck and upper back arthritis which also makes my upper back very tight … Xray on neck and upper back is useless you need an MRI …. Go see a Neurologist .
