Hi all. I have been taking Buprenorphine 0.4 mg tablet's now for 3 week's and as Jools said, my body is getting used them and the unreal feeling is passing and mostly, I am managing to sleep . I'm a bit worried though because last night my leg's were out of control again and I had to take a half at 3.30 a.m. I have to take 1 Lansoprazole 30 mg at 8 a.m. and sometimes another at 11 p.m. I have what the Gastroenterologist classes as a " massive" 10 cm sliding hiatal hernia, Diverticulitis and adhesions. I take ½Buprenorphine at 1 p.m., 2.5 mg Oramorph for spinal fracture pain and 1 Buprenorphine at 9 p.m. .....usually! Then last night the kicking started and the pain in my feet and leg's. I took the Lansoprazole at 10.30 because I was burning so would that have stopped the Buprenorphine working as it should? I'm SO tired and a bit upset but it must have been something that I did that made that happen. Thinking of you all. Take care. Danni

hi I’m on buprenorphine (I can never spell it lol) but do know as I read it not long ago that The metabolism of Lansoprazole can be decreased when combined with Buprenorphine, it doesn’t affect it, have you considered going a bit higher on buprenorphine as your on a small dose I know they can come in 2mg, you should tell your doctor about your pain, I had mine increased as the low dose wasn’t working for me & I’m comfortable on the increased dose hope you feel better soon
Hi. Thank you for that. You spelt it perfectly btw ! My Dr. isn't happy about me taking Buprenorphine but my vertebral fracture pain is getting worse and I am thinking about asking for another scan because while I know that there are splinters of bone digging into nerves, I can cope with a degree of pain but this is getting out of control. What with that and trying to figure out the RLS ....I'm tired ! I'm finding that the Buprenorphine is making me feel woozy even after 3 weeks. I have, always, been weird with pill's!Take care and I hope that you are O.K.
hi Danni . I have just joined the forum. My Mum had restless legs and Raynauds syndrome and was prescribed a B Vitamin , I think it was B6, years ago as part of a clinical trial.i think it helped. She also was found in her 90s to have had numerous small fractures that healed themselves over time and could be seen on an X-ray taken much later. I hope that helps.
