wave of stomach pain

Hello, does anyone get really bad lower stomach pain that feels like waves coming and going. No wind or bloating, just this pain that’s in my lower stomach and back. I don’t have periods anymore so that isn’t the cause, but this pain is crippling me, so any advice would be appreciated. Stay safe everyone.

Only advice is to get it looked at by a doctor.

I hope you will be OK.

Hope you are able to access a gp easily. Let us know how you get on. In the meantime you may find a hot water bottle comforting? I don’t want to give any other suggestions, such as medications because you don’t know what the problem is, so I’m worried to say anything that might make things worse. Like many of these things it’s probably nothing but please get checked out. If you get worse and can’t access gp then give 111 a call for medical opinion.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and being so kind. Yes. I will keep my eye on it, as it is extremely painful. Take care and stay safe.

I have pain like that and I find a hot water bottle to be extremely soothing. We can't try to diagnose your symptoms so please have that checked out though and I hope you'll be feeling better very soon.

Does it ever happen after eating dairy or drinking milk?

No, just comes on, but I’ve stopped my anti inflammatory medication to see if that is the cause. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, much appreciated. Take care and stay safe.

Get checked out by your GP. I have muscular back problems so was advised that cold temperatures as well as hot are good for my pain but you need to get checked out, definitely. They may advise blood tests to help find out what the problem is. Don’t just put up with the pain-see a professional 😁and good luck.
