Stomach pain
My first question is have you seen your GP? Second has he done any blood tests or scans?
x
Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I have had ultrasound scan , blood tests and stool & breath test a few months ago . Scans didn't show anything and bloods were normal. The breath test showed I had helicopter plyori. To which I was given 2 lots of antibiotics & Omeprazole to take over 2 weeks. I took them and was fine for a couple of months. But the pain is back again and seems worse then before. ??
I had the hpylori years ago and it took more than one round of antibiotics and other stomach meds. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days. When I did come home I took many meds for months for it to clear up. I actually was tested for it several times and I was still positive. It can take a long time to be completely out of your system. I would call my GP and have them possibly test again or give you another round of meds. Prayers you are feeling well soon😊
You should probably go back and have some sort of follow up,especially when you have had H pylori once before, sometimes a small ulcer can cause the pain, perhaps a second course of antibiotics and a longer period of omeprazole will keep your stomach settled, its nothing to worry about, and its easily sorted, so if its like a gnawing pain, and you tend to get either a lot of stomach acid, or even belching, this is probably your answer, and certain foods can affect it if you feel bloated etc,I can't eat fresh onions any more, or fresh oranges, its only as I've got older my stomach doesn't tolerate certain foods, the joys of old age eh,I hope this helps you, best of luck.
