Shoulder pain

am 19 and have got pain in my shoulder going down to my wrist which is really painful and i can barely move it any idea what ive done

Do you know what set this pain off, what were you doing when you first felt it?

This could be any number of things and it really isn't possible, or responsible, for others to try to judge what might be wrong online. I'd suggest you visit your GP as s/he can examine you and best decide what further examinations or treatment you need.

You're young to have this. Maybe a trapped nerve. I agree with tabby cat, go to your GP that's the best thing. I really do hope this pain and what is causing it will be healed.

I have no idea. It is worth seeing a chiropractor to check for pressure on nerve roots. It is also important to see a doctor to check for other things that may be happening.

I had something similar but on both sides. So myself and docs thought it was neck as both sides. Had scan and have three bulging discs in neck but not causing this. Was sent to neurologist who took some experiments by passing small, non painful, electrical charge down each finger tip. This was hooked up to a computer and it measured how much resistance there was to charge via nerve network on arms. Turns out I had carporal tunnel syndrome and a trapped ulna nerve in elbow. Had operations to correct these as day surgery, so home each night! The intense pain has gone but I still get numbness and tingling.

Have you been to A&E? Just because you've a chronic pain condition doesn't mean you mightn't have some injury or health condition. What is your pain diagnosis please?
