Sharp pains in chest and constantly clicking chest and back.......

So.... About 5 Months ago i was sitting at work and got this really sharp sort of stabbing pain in the center of my chest only lasted for about 2 seconds and it stopped. After that the Anxiety got the best of me which I think. I started feeling dizzy , constantly feeling or needing to be sick panicking constantly about the big Heart attack word but no other symptoms. After this random pain i couldn't sleep properly I was worried to sleep thinking if it was going to come back. about 3 days after the groggness from the pain went and it was all back to normal. about a week ago I had another random stabbing pain in the center of my chest but this time it wasn't just there it was above the right breast bone and left and some times when i walk there is a popping sound like something rubbing. its nowhere near as bad as what the pain was 5 months ago but i know its there as such. The whole area around my chest is tender and hurting now I constantly need to click my chest and back. pain subsides a bit and everything goes back to normal. Spoke to GP about it and he said it was some sort of Muscular problem but I'm not really a on the move type i sit at a office desk so was really confused what I done. Anxiety gets the best of me thinking I'm dying but was wondering if anyone else has any of these issues and need someone to put my mind at piece

Oh dear I’m sorry your feeling so uptight about all this , I think you need to get back to your GP and tell him your still very anxious and can you please come to see him to be checked for further reassurance. You can’t carry on like this , you will end up making yourself ill.Good luck

Thank you I think when you get a pain you have never had before and all or a sudden comes on out the blue it would panic you I am only 27 so I was confused as to what it could be

As someone below on here has made a suggestion definitely go and tell doctor about that. You need a check up if nothing else

Sounds like costochondrisis. Google it, although not sure of spelling. My sister has suffered on and off for years. Similar symptoms to you. It's painful and reoccurring but its not serious.

I did think it was that after reading alot into it do you know if the doctors will diagnose you with it or is it a self diagnosis?Thank you for all your help
