Hi i'm 36, couple of months i'm suffering from chest pain due to gas, it feel like balloon formed in chest and when i try rubbing in chest it will give burbs, i have anxiety took medicine couple of days and i quit immediately, is it causing this gas issue ?.

Also i have checked with my GP for heart related, done couple of test like ECG,EKG, X RAY everything came normal. but still when i take a stairs feel shortness of breathe and pulse goes upto 175 bpm, not sure what is the issue going around me.

is it Anxiety or Cardiovascular issue or Lung problem or gas acidity issue ?. Any help would be great.

Hello , I’ve had anxiety for around 30 years now ,when it’s bad I get bloated and it goes all the way up into my chest , Ive had the experience lots over the years ,Ive thought I was having a heart attack or the beginning of one many times but turns out to be anxiety related , you get so many other symptoms going off with it , even shortness of breath , dizziness , rapid heartbeat etc ,, go see your gp rasikarthik you may need a concurrent medication to reduce some other issues anxiety causes , I hope this helps you , I can’t say for sure but your post sounds just like myself , let me know how you get on , best wishes x

Good morning Rasikarthik,

Gas is a very uncomfortable feeling and can at times make one feel as if it is not your body. sometimes and overtake of gas remedies can also trigger something else, writing on my experience. Ist I was an overweight, then had a hysterectomy, which made matters even worse for weight. I was given all sorts of digestives and told to try and eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, now at my more mature age I find that drinking more water, and if one can drink soda water once a day can be a relief. Hope this is a bit of help, though it is right to do what is right for you and what the your Doctor suggests. Good day.
