Left side pain

Hi I awaiting tests for gallbladder pain. Is there anything I can take for the pain and sickness. Thanks

Hi Christine. Over a year ago I was admitted to hospital due to having terrible pains in my right side under my ribs, it turned out that 8 months later when I had all the tests done not at the hospital even though I was in agony, it turned out to be multiple Gall Stones in my Gallbladder, I am now awaiting an operation due to not getting any better which is a 2 year waiting list if I am lucky. My pain was on the opposite side to yours because that is where the Gallbladder is situated in the right side, so I am told from the doctor. I hope this helps you, it could be something else that you have.

Hi, I understand that pain I had my gallbladder out last year and I used to drink ginger tea and apple cider vinegar both equally disgusting but they actually did work ginger tea for inflammation and sickness and something in the apple cider vinegar helps calm the pain try it and good luck 😊

Years ago before I had my gallbladder removed the doctor used to give me tablets normally used for cancer to releive the terrible pain. Usually not eating for a while used to calm my pain by next day. But it used to leave me drained & sickly feeling. I had my tests done and an op within eight weeks , it was major open surgery in them days. Now they have non invasive treatments. Hope you get your tests done quickly, a thing to stop pain occuring is low fat diet but this causes weight loss in many. Will be thinking of you.
