Tooth extraction pain

Hi everyone. I’m new on here so hope I’m doing it right. I had a top canine tooth extracted 2 weeks ago. I’m still getting a lot of aching pain high in the gum. Been back to dentist 3 times. He assures me I don’t have dry socket. Surely the pain should be easing off now

Yes it can do. Mine hurt for two to three weeks after extraction . Make sure you use the salt water rinse and flushing , great healer .

Thanks rabbits65. I’m doing the salt water rinse 4 times a day But there’s no real improvement yet. Anyway you’ve given me

The dentist told me the top

ones extracted have more

healing to do . I took

some paracetamol.

As you’ve posted on an RA

on here as you might have

Hi I had a top tooth extraction about 4 weeks ago. It was one of the last ones at the back. It hurt actually very little and was hurt free after about 4 or 5 days. I had been told though it could hurt about 3 weeks. If it keeps on hurting I would suggest seeing your dentist again in about 10 days. Hope it stops hurting soon.

hi there i had a tooth out about two weeks ago but was fine for about a week but then the pain came back so went back and they put some antibiotics in it it taste bad but it did the job the pain dropped of but the other thing in the past there some little bits off cartage or like that still in the hole and i had a play with hole and got them out and it healed up well after that try crushing clove seeds and rub it on around the gum

Hi, I've done a tooth extraction two months back when my dentist diagnosed a tooth abscess. I noticed that my teeth were affected by cavities and gum disease then I realized that oral hygiene is essential for stable oral health. So I have consulted a dentist and done an extraction (emergency-dental-365.com/pr... . It is normal to feel some pain after the anesthesia wears off. You should also expect some swelling and residual bleeding for few days. However, if either bleeding or pain is still severe more than that, you should find the solution as soon as possible.
