My health gone down

I’ve just been in hospital and told that I’ve got colon cancer and I’ve been started on some treatment for already rather than an operation and if that fails at a later date they will operate on me as the pain I’m suffering at this point of time in my stomach is horrendous and also I am passing blood in my stools every time I go to the toilet.

So I wouldn’t wish this on anyone else as it isn’t very nice okay.

Yes I`m on five pain killers at this time as the pain is that much I barely get any sleep any more as I`m up from 8.00am to 3.00am every day now because of the on going pain I suffer okay.

Oh Andrew... I am so sorry. I'm a cancer survivor and I know how terrible it is when you get the news.

Of course we are all different but I've always said that any disease that is operable is welcome. I don't know if that makes sense to you.

I would rather have surgery than a long treatment.

I have had 20 surgeries! I am not kidding. 🤨

Andrew, not all my surgeries were due to cancer. My first surgery was to remove my tonsils many years ago when I was in college.

Many other surgeries followed ... tumors that turned out to be benign. I also had 5 surgeries on my left wrist due to a very bad fracture. Also cataracts. I have had a lot of surgeries through many years and it is difficult to remember them all. They removed the cancerous tumor and 13 lymph node metastases. After the surgery I had treatment that lasted one year. It's been 9 years now.

It sounds serious. Do they know? Is there more than one mass? I take it you’ve had a colonoscopy?

Could you get a fentanyl duragesic for your pain? I think it would let you get some sleep,
