Consultant appointment
Hello Kels1974 ,
It sounds like you've been through a lot with your pain and sorry to hear you've been in constant pain for many months following surgery.
Waiting for appointments can be very frustrating, but hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the next MRI scan.
In the meantime, what techniques/strategies do you find most helpful to manage your pain?
Please see the links below for some information about pain management, perhaps you will find some techniques you may not have already tried:

I hope this information is useful.

I have been through the wringer as might recall. Let us know what the outcome is.
I will thanks.How.are you doing at the moment?
I had an MRI myself last week and luckily the fusion is fine. My back pain is apparently coming from some badly deteriorated facet joints at multiple levels. And the sciatic nerve has scar tissue attached to it giving me referred pain. Scheduled now for facet joint injections at 4 levels and if helpful a denervation. At the same time they will give an injection to help calm the sciatic nerve. Both are just day cases.
Take care xx
