Kidney Stone or Appendix pain?

Hi,

Could someone tell me the difference between the pain with a Kidney Stone and the Appendix?

I've had a Kidney Stone before and it feels the same in some respects, but there also feels like there's a pain/ache lower down too in my groin area.

I started getting stomach ache last night and there's still an ache today, I originally put it down to some sardines disagreeing with me yesterday lunchtime, but this morning I've woken up to the pain.

There's also an aching when I pee towards the right of the old fella.

Any insight would be appreciated as I don't want to go to MI as last time thinking my Appendix was on its way out.

I can't be of much help I'm afraid as I've never had appendicitis but I know the pain from kidney stones all too well.

I'd say you're probably going to need a trip to see your GP though, these aren't really symptoms that should be ignored.
