Sudden rash

Last night I was drinking a fizzy drink and I noticed it really stung me tongue but I thought nothing. Until a few more sips then I couldn’t have anymore. I looked on the mirror and was shocked. A crack all the way though the middle had come. Like it’s been sliced.

My fingers during the day had gone read ADHDs really sore and I could not put them under hot warm water. Can they both b related? I read online and it says it could be hand foot and mouth!! Anybody else think the same?? Please reply!

I wonder would it be a reaction to the drink?

Can you check the ingredients?

Many artificial sweeteners and colourings can cause severe reactions in some people.

You would need to google each ' "ingredient" and reactions'

You may need an antihistamine, but should see a Dr first.

I rang the doc and he said send some pics. Rang me back and told me all ur pictures do look like hand foot and mouth I’m afraid. 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Hi. Hand foot & mouth is normally blisters caused by a virus , usually clears up in a couple of weeks with the right treatment. There's plenty info on nhs and other websites on the net. You didn't say what your gp was going to do about it, if anything ? As it's a virus, antibiotics won't help. ? Your pharmacy probably have something you can spray in your mouth... even bonjela can help painful mouth blisters... and zinc ointment for the hands etc.

You've picked it up from an infected person, so good hygiene and handwashing is key as you can spread it.. . Don't worry, it's not related to the disease found in sheep etc.

Hi saj01 my gp said to me there’s no treatment for this problem. I’ve just to take painkillers and if the problem worsens I’ve to ring back and yes the bonjela you mentioned is one thing I’ve tried. I might sound silly but I don’t feel as BAD as I think I SHOULD b feeling 🙈. Don’t know if you understand. Because I’ve Always thought of this problem making person more unwell than I am

Hi Sid.123 You made me laugh!!! Well that's good news you're not feeling that ill, isn't it.

Probably because you're thinking along the lines of the animal virus.

I guess it affects some people more than others perhaps. I hope you do some reading up on it as being a virus, now you've got it, it can spread to other members of your household, simply because families share things/facilities. Anyway, I hope it gets better soon for you....

I live with my dad n bro and his family. So a pretty lively busy house. So it’s difficult to stay away from them really- like you said it’s a virus. It’ll be pretty difficult ...a pain especially for me in this month of ramadan
