Hi
I'm sorry you are in so much pain. Could your Dr refer you to a podiatrist? Hope you start feeling better soon. Take care Lynne
Hi Oldham12,do you think a podiatrist would be able to help?
Yes, I do think that a podiatrist may be able to help. Take care Lynne
I would second the podiatrist. Have you been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis?
Hi cyberbarn..yeh I do have psoriatic arthritis
What your Drs won’t tell you, you are most likely have nerve damage occurring from peripheral neuropathy. The commonest cause is diabetes but a severe vitamin B12 deficiency is never considered.Ask for active vitamin B12,folate,ferritin,iron,magnesium,vitamin D levels. If your serum b12 is below 500 you need treatment now.Are you suffering any other symptoms like ringing ears, numbness, indigestion, pins & needles, fatigue.
Hi SID123,
Pain Concern produced an online leaflet regarding foot pain, you can find it here painconcern.org.uk/foot-pain/.
I'm not sure how applicable it is to psoriasis specifically but hopefully there are tips that might be able to help.
Hope this helps,
The PC Team
