Have a look at sleep regime. Are you making allowance for getting up to go to the toilet at night. You need to make time allowance for this to add to amount of sleep. You probably need to have power naps during the day.

You can be tired for all sorts of reasons that are not related to iron deficiency. Getting enough of the right food can be a problem. Nutrition and micro nutrients is not something that is easy to find out about.

Lack of salt can cause tiredness. In hot weather we perspire more and we need to replace the salt that is perspired.

I think when people are in pain and/or have chronic illness, it isn't as you mentioned, which would be a reason for normal, healthy people. There is a major difference between the two worlds.

There is a difference and there is not. The issues I mentioned affect both worlds. The issues affect those with pain and discomfort more because of the greater internal stress on the person suffering pain and discomfort.

What I mentioned are things which can get easily overlooked. Particularly when struggling with everyday living. A little bit of extra stress can throw a lot of things out. The extra stress can be so minor that one does not look at the knock on effect.

My "First post part 3" explains the effect of the stress breakdown point. If your internal stress is close to the stress breakdown point then the little bit of extra stress will take you into the collapse zone.

By eliminating the minor stresses you take your total internal stress away from the stress breakdown point. This as a result will give you greater endurance.

There are of course other things which can give difficulty. I can think of a few. Others on this forum can think of a few more.

I am sorry. Some day you, too, will become sick, or there will be a point at which you have to think from both sides of your theories. Then you might think about all of the long posts you have placed on this site which is for people who are now in pain and/or are seriously ill.

I agree my posts are not for every one. Quite a number of people do not want to investigate their situation. They are quite happy to do nothing. That is fine. There are others who want to try and improve their situation and would prefer not to try and invent the wheel with the hours and hours of work that this involves. These others are willing to investigate and to see what works and what does not. To see what can be tweaked to fit what they have observed and then use the tweaks to improve their quality of life.

Theories are just theories. There are no both sides there is only investigation.

I do long posts because I am providing information and ideas. A lot of people know at first hand what it is like trying to get sensible information out of a consultant in a 5 minute talking consultation. You just can't.

People can copy and paste my posts into a word processor and read them in slow time.

Some people here are very conscious and have examined their own psychology, their bodies, how muscles work, what stresses they might have. Some are elders.

Some are respected people in their work and lives and communities for what they give and offer the world, even while the body of their soul is wounded or ill or in pain. We may have already been there, read it, heard it, thought it. We are good people here, people who still are not in well bodies. I am not into argument or escalation, Mr. Smith. I am wanting to offer what I know and feel, then hear from others who are experiencing the same. I'm an old woman and want peace in my world.

I also have a terrible fatigue. I just took a journey with other people in my field and slept through much of it. It is embarrassing but I am simply fatigued from being ill and having pain all of the time. I was also the slowest and last person to move. And that was humiliating, too. But if you are ill, you have to give yourself credit for moving and going and committing to something. At least I am still in there trying.

When is the last time you have seen a physician, my mom was going through this getting exhausted or winded after housework, such as sweeping... and it ended up being a heart valve issue. So make sure you are getting regular check ups.😊👍hope you are feeling better soon.

Have you checked your B12, folic acid, magnesium levels? Made a big difference to me.

Have a look at Sarah Myhill's book about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Might help.
