Hi my name is Brian kidd.. I was an ex drug user for 25 years.. I met a drug free girl 4 years ago.. The best thing that happened to me.. Anyway as a result of my drug use.. I have got Liver cirrhosis... With cirhossis.. I have osephagul varices.. Which have bled in 2016..i have portal hypertension... I have got COPD. depression.. Anxiety issues.. Right ankle tranma caused by accident in 2004.. I was awarded pip on my condition in 2013 for 3 years.. I was asked to attend a medical assessment in Jan 2016..where I never got a single point.. An yet my condition is life threatening... My copd limits my abilities to do any strenuous activities... I suffer a lot of dizzy spells because the toxins cause me confusion I don't cook. I have toilet accidents.
An yet I just received a letter this morning as I attended a assessment on 9th April I never got a single point. The assessor has told a pack of lies over asking me how my disability affects me. I need help please..

Hi Brian , i'm Ian , Iv'e just been and had my Pip Results (Passed)
Brian i'm roughly the same as you but i was on the Piss, liver damage , COPD , i'm on Cpap Machine, (they don't look at Cpap at all) and being treated for everything you can't die of,
Please Appeal asap , My mate roughly the same got a knock back appealed (No Problem)
Passed with flying colours , Don't worry Brian you will get it , Did you see that Guy in Liverpool he went , by the time his knock back he was in Hospital on his Fckin death bed,
So Just Appeal you'll come out with Flying Colour's , Back pay as well , I can keep an update , take care mate , Don't let the Bastards Grind you down,
Ask immediately for Mandatory Reconsideration. This must be done immediately. Then, when you get the results of that, you can decide whether to go for a full appeal to the Tribunal.
Don't give up. Ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration and if you don't get the results you want, go for the Tribunal. I won with a Mandatory Reconsideration after producing more Medical Evidence because the Assessor lied. I have arthritis plus many other medical conditions. Don't give up. Fight them. Assessors often lie about things and hopefully eventually it will be recorded when you have the assessment. Good luck.
As everyone else has said, mandatory reconsideration right away. My assessor told lie after lie about my assessment for ESA, even after my Dr wrote a letter saying I wasn't fit to work, it was ignored also.
I won the appeal at tribunal.
Contact Welfare rights, they will help you at no cost & they were a god send for me.

This is happening to so many people, do an MR I think you only have 28 days to do it in. Also enclose any new supporting evidence. Do you have a copy of your report? If so work your way through it and for each one put what you disagree with and why. Remember they don't really look at the illness they look at what you need help with or what you can't do in your everyday life, everything it affects. Good luck.
Hi I'm Ironside, wot u have to do next is to make an appointment with the pip,s people then take photo copy,s of all your hospital letters and doctor letters and any sergeon letters and the go through all your problems on the worst day and nights you have. But don't give them the originals or you will have no prove of what the doc,s have said. Good luck hope you get somewhere but it took us 4-6 months before a desist ion.
contact your local citizen advice, get your medical records going back 6 years from your doctor go see them they will sort the manditory reconsideration out then appeal do it asap
Wtf I can’t believe that. I’m a ex user too. Iv been on methadone for 29 yr. yes 29 yr. I’m terrified of normality. Alone you should have got ten points for not being able to go out. Did you go with any one. That’s Fuking terrible. Where did you go for yr f2f. Was it here in Glasgow. Did u take letters from
Yr drug worker. Yr family or that. Pmus you can’t tell them about any gd days it’s all got to be bad. R u on Facebook xx
Yea go for a mandatory reconsideration. I did once but had to go the full way to appeal. I won hands down. Sounds like you got a shit assecor. Go to welfare rights. Get all the help you can. Everyone thats replied is helpful. I went from low rate dla on both components to enhanced on both. But my health is simliar to you. Gd luck pal.
